2001 Recipients Of The ASM Student Chapter Grants

The ASM International Foundation is very pleased to announce the following recipients of the 2001 ASM Student Chapter Grants.

1.) California State Polytechnic University-Pomona (view proposal)

2.) Georgia Institute of Technology (view proposal)

3.) University of Wisconsin-Madison (view proposal)

A selection committee (subteam of ASM Action in Education Team) reviewed the proposals received and selected these three chapters as the best and most deserving of the grants.

Created to encourage and support ASM Student Chapters in their outreach activities, this program supports student chapter activities that move toward our mission "to excite young people worldwide in materials careers."

The ASM International Foundation will continue to develop and support programs that excite young adults about materials careers, and thus contribute in the development of a whole new generation of ASM members.
