Explore and Search
The ASM Alloy Phase Diagrams Center offers two ways to retrieve the phase
diagrams relevant to you:
-
Explore
- The Explore Tree is accessible by clicking on the "Explore" tab. The tree is
sectioned into alphabetical ranges. Select the first Element of the system you
are searching for. Then open the Binary or Ternary (if available) folder to see
Binary or Ternary systems for this element. Selecting a system will list
summary information and thumbnail images of all the diagrams available for that
system. Click on the diagram title to view the full image and details. You will
be prompted for your username and password at this point, if you are not
already logged in.
-
Search - There are two search features available. The first is
a simple element search which can be performed by completing one, two or three
of the element drop-down lists at the top-right of each page. A more advanced
search can be performed from the "Search" tab. In addition to searching by
element(s) you can further refine your search to a specific journal, author,
year, or various crystal data. The Search results will be broken down by Binary
and Ternary, full composition and partial composition ranges. Click on a
diagram title to view that diagram details. You will be prompted for your
username and password at this point, if you are not already logged in.
