Registrants of the workshop will receive a FREE copy of CES EduPack 2006 software.
Attendees will be presented with an index of materials and finishes which will enhance their knowledge of the variety of available metals. In addition, the properties and cost of these materials will be discussed so that attendees will gain greater insight into the rationale behind material selection and evaluate several product design case studies. After the workshop, attendees will have a greater depth of knowledge and will be well-equipped to select metals for product development and industrial applications. Workshop highlights to include:

Tour Moen - A world leader in faucet manufacturing and innovation. Attendees will visit the Moen corporate headquarters and explore their design process, material selection and manufacturing methodologies for their products.

Tour Don Drumm Studios – Don Drumm is a world renowned artist who is internationally recognized as the pioneer of aluminum as an art medium. His studio showcases art from more than 500 artists who use metal as their medium. Attendees will meet Don Drumm and tour his studio.
This workshop will include:
1. Understanding the variety of metals and finishes that exist
2. Determining the proper material and finish for industrial applications
3. Limitations and cost of metal processing for industrial applications
