The Emerging Professionals Program provides a younger demographic — the future of ASM — to see, understand and be involved with the inner workings of our internationally recognized professional society. The program allows ASM to seamlessly transition through from one generation to the next. Involvement goes beyond the local chapter level as our Emerging Professionals interact with ASM at the national level, organizing and executing events at the ASM Annual Meeting held at MS&T, guiding the direction of ASM by attending various committee meetings, as well as interacting with and learning from a diverse group of professionals who are acknowledged leaders within ASM International and as acknowledged mentors in the field.

Education

Raise Money for your Chapter While Helping your Members Improve Performance

Due to the increase costs experienced by ASM to provide the products and services associated with Chapter Courses, a slight increase was necessary for the 2008 calendar year.  The increase reflects paper, postage, printing and other miscellaneous costs and translates into a cost of $312 per product vs. the previous price of $285 for Chapters.

We strive to keep our costs down and while providing the most up-to-date technical content. As always, we will maintain our commitment to serving our chapters with the highest level of responsibility and benefit.

If you have any questions, concerns or interest in receiving more information about the benefits of holding a chapter course, please feel free to contact John Cerne at 440.338.5151 x5637.

To view a list of courses that may be of value to your chapter and members, visit the website.

Please accept our gratitude for providing great services to your membership and understanding this necessary change.
