The ASM Materials Education Foundation's programs aim to get students interested and excited about careers in engineering. We take great pride in influencing the next generation of engineers and scientists.
The ASM Materials Education Foundation has a five-year fundraising plan that is designed to raise $5 million, which will be used to annually train 1,500 high school teachers in science, technology, engineering, and math.
The ASM Materials Education Foundation recognizes the urgent need to engage students in Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) both in post-secondary education and technical careers.
Each year the ASM Materials Education Foundation presents an award to an individual who has helped advance awareness of materials and applied science careers and to an organization that has provided volunteer support and financial resources.
