Welcome to Seattle and the 17th Advanced Aerospace Materials and Processes Conference and Exposition
ALCOA, Inc. is proud to be the host organization for AeroMat 2006, and we welcome you to Seattle, Washington, the northwestern capital of the U.S. aerospace and aviation industry. For the first time, AeroMat 2006 is co-located with two other world class events… the International Thermal Spray Conference & Exposition (ITSC) and the International Surface Engineering Congress & Exposition (ISEC). Your AeroMat registration allows you to attend all three conferences and the combined exhibition.
Over 250 companies and organizations are represented each year at AeroMat, the premier North American conference focused exclusively on process development and advanced aerospace materials, structures and propulsion systems. Our speakers and attendees are from materials producers, material fabricators, OEMs, government labs and academia. This year, the technical focus will be Integration of Materials, Design and Manufacturing for High Performance, Low Cost Aerostructures. You can expect to gain timely and relevant technical information on affordable structures and low cost manufacturing; model development and implementation for enhanced materials, processing and performance; emerging materials and processes; high-temperature materials; innovative hybrid structures; light alloy, titanium alloy and welding and joining technologies; materials and processes for space applications; nondestructive evaluation and health monitoring and prognostics; and surface engineering for aerospace applications.
Networking and learning opportunities are unlimited this year at the AeroMat, ITSC, ISEC combined event. We expect record attendance at the conferences and exposition, and encourage you to register early.
