National Committees guide ASM as an organization and help improve products and services for other members. Opportunities include organizing national events, procuring and editing technical book and journal content, guiding education focus and much more.
Contribute to the materials science field by providing information and expertise on technical advances in sectors like Aerospace and Defense, Energy & Utilities and more.
Provide input and recommendations to the Board on products and services of ASM, including conferences, technical books, online databases and much more.
Help improve products and services for a specific technical field like failure analysis, heat treating, thermal spray and more.

Volunteer for Materials Camp
Materials Camps are free science camps for high school juniors and seniors and high school science teachers. Volunteers are always welcome as mentors and organizers. Are you interested in organizing or helping to set up an ASM Materials Camp for teachers or students in your area? Camps are held throughout the United States, Canada, and India, so join us for this most rewarding experience!
