Why plane tires don’t explode on landing

This video from Tech Insider tells about the materials in airplane tires, specifically Goodyear tires, and shows how they are made to withstand the tremendous forces of a jet landing. The typical airliner tire can survive 500 landings before needing a retread, and it can be retread seven times before being scrapped.
