New TEM Advances Materials Research at University of Groningen

The University of Groningen (UG), the Netherlands, demonstrates the benefits of their new transmission electron microscope (TEM) and how it will impact their future materials research. It allows scientists at UG’s Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials to study the structure of materials in unprecedented details. One of its unique abilities is to produce images of both heavy and very light atoms simultaneously. Courtesy of the University of Groningen.
