Surface Combustion Inc., Maumee, Ohio, announces that it has made a major investment in its facility in Waterville, Ohio. The expansion includes an addition of 22,000 ft2 to its existing facility to enhance the flexibility and capacity to better serve the changing needs of its global customer base. The project doubled the amount of work bays, which are more expansive, to accommodate larger equipment assembly and testing.
Upgrades include 11 high-capacity jib cranes and two 20-ton overhead cranes. Planning for the future, the foundation and utilities have been designed to support a duplicate expansion adjacent to the current facility.
