The acquisition, with the CTI-Cryogenics and Polycold brands, will significantly expand Atlas Copco\u2019s technology offering with a new range of high vacuum pumps that optimize the removal of water vapour and hydrogen, critical to many semiconductor and industrial processes. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\">Expected to occur in the first quarter of 2019, the acquisition includes cryopump operations in Chelmsford, Mass., and Monterrey, Mexico, its worldwide network of sales and service centers, as well as its 50% shareholding in Japan-based joint venture company Ulvac Cryogenics Inc.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\">The acquisition is an all-cash transaction utilizing Atlas Copco\u2019s existing funds and is subject to regulatory approvals.
