SIA represents U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing, design, and research, with members accounting for approximately 95 percent of U.S. semiconductor sales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">\u201cAs 2019 winds down, global semiconductor sales continue to lag behind last year\u2019s total, but we\u2019ve begun seeing indications of the modest rebound projected for next year,\u201d said John Neuffer, president and CEO, Semiconductor Industry Association. \u201cRegionally, the Americas market was the only major market to grow on a month-to-month basis, but sales into the Americas were down substantially year-to-year.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:.0001pt\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Sales increased in November 2019 compared to October 2019 in the Americas (2.3 percent), held flat in China, and decreased in Europe (-0.6 percent), Asia Pacific\/All Other (-1.8 percent), and Japan (-1.9 percent).
