Dr. Dimitri Ivanov

Dr. Ivanov graduated from Belarussian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics with a specialist degree in electrical engineering. In 2005, he commenced his Ph.D. research in the laboratory of Professor Kundas. His thesis is dedicated to developing robust models for simulating stress and strain effects in induction hardening processes. In 2009, Ivanov was awarded his doctors degree in Minsk, Belarus, and continued his research in the Kundas’ laboratory as a postdoc. He joined EFD Induction in 2009, where he works on simulations of stress and strain, metallurgical phenomena in induction heating processes, and microstructural analyses in EFD’s R&D Department.
