This ensures that the furnace meets AMS 2750E, Class 2 furnaces and Instrumentation Type C requirements. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span>Each system is designed to heat 1000 pounds of aluminum to a 950\u00b0F operating temperature, and utilizes PLC process control with HMI operator interface. Once the loads are heated to the operating temperature, they soak at temperature, and then are lowered into the quench tank, taking less than ten seconds to become fully submerged after the door starts to open. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span>The customer required guaranteed shipped two designed for the solution treatment of aluminum to an aluminum manufacturer.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWisconsin Oven\u2019s horizontal quench systems have the capacity to process loads up to 6000 pounds with quench times as low as 7 seconds,\u201d says Doug Christiansen, Applications Engineer. \u201cThis makes them ideal for solution treating a range of aluminum products.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The company recently shipped two of these systems to an aluminum manufacturer.
