Ipsen USA, Cherry Valley, Ill., recently shipped 15 furnaces to eight states in the United States, as well as Asia and Europe, to support customers in the additive manufacturing, aerospace, commercial heat treating, medical, and metal injection molding industries. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The shipments included:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

—Nine Titan vacuum furnaces, including three Titan DS (debinding and sintering) units, two TitanLT (low temperature) units, and several H2- and H6-sized furnaces, all equipped with <\/span>PdMetrics  <\/sup>predictive maintenance software.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

—Three horizontal MetalMaster  <\/sup>vacuum furnaces, each with a work zone of 36 x 30 x 48 inches, and load capacity of 2000 pounds.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

—Two horizontal TurboTreater<\/span><\/span><\/em> <\/sup>furnaces.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

—One vacuum aluminum brazing furnace with a 1500-pound load capacity and an all-metal, radiation-shielded hot zone for the aerospace industry.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Several of these customers also took advantage of Ipsen’s support offerings, such as Ipsen U training, spare parts kits, installation, and startup assistance. A few furnaces shipped to repeat customers and one customer received two furnace orders.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
