Renishaw, UK, introduces the new RenAM 500M additive manufacturing system, a laser-based powder bed fusion system designed specifically for the production of metal components on the factory floor. Fully designed and engineered in-house to be used for serialized production, the RenAM 500M builds complex metal components directly from CAD models. Highlights of the system include a Renishaw-designed and engineered optical system with dynamic focusing, automated powder sieving and recirculation, a 500-watt ytterbium fiber laser, and the patented high-capacity SafeChange dual filter system.<\/p>\n
Renishaw also recently launched Additive Manufacturing Solutions Centers. These aim to provide businesses with a secure development environment in which they can build their knowledge and confidence using additive manufacturing technology.
