For over 20 years, Oerlikon Balzers has supported the Bosch Group with innovative surface treatment solutions for the optimization of engine components such as injection systems and piston pins. Special hard-material and anti-friction coatings have enabled reductions in fuel consumption and emissions in&nbsp;internal combustion engines of up to 15%.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 0.9375em; line-height: 1.333333333em;\">&#8220;We are proud that our competence as a solution provider and our commitment have been acknowledged by such an important customer as Bosch, allowing us to further strengthen our cooperation for the future,&#8221; said Bernd Fischer, Head of Oerlikon Balzers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 0.9375em; line-height: 1.333333333em;\">The award pays tribute to the relationship of trust and to the mutual successes of&nbsp;the past years. &#8220;Deserving of special mention are the consistently high level of quality Oerlikon Balzers&nbsp;delivers, the professional project management and the close cooperation with our R&amp;D department to&nbsp;achieve new solutions time and again,&#8221; said Tina Mayer, the responsible purchaser at Bosch.
