Powered with 42 kW, this furnace is ideal for heat treating high-speed steel, as it reaches 2450\u00b0F in the upper chamber and 1200\u00b0F in the lower tempering oven.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tA combined 6.5 inches of ceramic fiber modules with mineral wood backup insulation allows for faster heating\/cooling cycles.&nbsp; Silicon carbide heating elements operate off-the-line through an SCR power supply with a current limiting circuit that automatically adjusts the voltage to elements as their resistance increases, resulting in longer element life.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tHeat treating recipes can be stored in the Honeywell digital temperature controllers with a seven-day timer. High limit controllers were added for safety.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 0.9375em; font-weight: 400;\">CTI, an ISO 9001-2008 certified shop, is a specialized Tool &amp; Die company manufacturing high-quality tooling for the powder compaction industry.&nbsp; CTI does most of its heat treating in-house for faster turnaround.
