The new approach will help customers to identify and compare different product options and so find the best product for their specific performance and cost needs.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe new portfolio structure features nine product ranges, which highlight the key properties of their respective products. &nbsp;In the Classic product family, the three ranges \u2013 Core, Moda, and Supra \u2013 represent the basic, all-round grades.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Pro product family includes six ranges: Forta for Duplex and other high-strength needs, Ultra for extremely corrosive environments, Dura for high hardness, Therma for high heat-resistance, Prodec for improved machinability, and Deco for special surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTo further facilitate exploration of the portfolio, Outokumpu has introduced a new interactive on-line tool.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tOutokumpu has also launched three new alloys: Supra 316plus, which has better strength, corrosion resistance, and formability than austenitic Supra 316L\/4404; Core 4622, a ferritic containing no nickel; and high-strength lightweight Forta H-series, for the automotive industry.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.outokumpu.com\/\">www.outokumpu.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Outokumpu Oy, Finland, has developed a way to categorize its wide range of stainless steel products by arranging them according to strength, hardness, machinability, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":63082,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[444,446,439,440,441,1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-9077","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-aerospace-and-defense","category-automobiles-and-ground-transportation","category-general","category-news","category-news-articles","category-uncategorized"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
