HTS member Diran Apelian, left, of WPI’s Center for Heat Treating Excellence (CHTE), congratulates HTS member Michael Pershing of Caterpillar for winning the CHTE Service Award. Each year CHTE acknowledges the accomplishments of an individual who, in the judgment of the board, has made significant, commendable, and long-standing contributions to the promotion of CHTE. Criteria include membership in good standing for a minimum of three years and exceptional contributions to CHTE.
