Lumenous Device Technologies, Sunnyvale, Calif., introduces TruePhase, a noncontact Af temperature-measurement system for Nitinol devices. This vision system is capable of measuring temperature in up to eight devices at the same time, and in a variety of device architectures. It improves repeatability and provides better, more reliable data.
“Af testing that is easier, more repeatable, and provides higher throughput can relieve significant headaches,” says Lumenous President Todd Dickson. “It just makes sense to offer it in an instrument, so that our customers can benefit not only by our in-house testing, but also in their own labs.”
Lumenous manufactures ultra-precision components for minimally invasive medical devices. Company capabilities support all phases of product development, with ISO13485 certified laser micromachining, microwelding, electropolishing, Nitinol wire drawing, precision assembly, and design engineering for devices such as stents, heart valve frames, and flexible hypotubes.
