MS&T 2016 Features Panel Discussions on Advanced Manufacturing

A special panel session has been scheduled at MS&T’16 on Tuesday, October 25, at 2:00 p.m. at the Salt Palace Convention Center, Room 355B. The program organizer is Roger Narayan, UNC/NCSU Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering. The panel will discuss materials and processing technology innovation for advanced manufacturing. The session is sponsored by ASM International’s Emerging Technology Awareness Committee (ETAC). The first panel will focus on collaborative programs and initiatives that have been launched to foster and support technology innovation, while the second panel will address recent advances in biomanufacturing.

Collaborative Research Program

This program is moderated by Frank Gayle; National Institute of Standards and Technology. This section of the panel discussion will focus on collaborative programs for materials and processing research.
