Ipsen video shows how to check for leaks in a vacuum heat treating system

Ipsen, Cherry Valley, Ill., has prepared a video called “How to Perform a Leak Check with a Mass Spectrometer” for vacuum heat treating systems. The video provides step-by-step instructions on how to correctly perform a leak check, from how to calibrate a helium mass spectrometer to determining what part of the furnace is the source of the leak. It also includes tips for keeping furnaces running at peak performance.
