Solar Atmospheres of California receives Safran/Snecma approval

Solar Atmospheres of Fontana, Calif., announces that it has attained approved-supplier status for Safran/Snecma. Solar received approval for stress relieving, solution heat treating, normalizing, homogenization annealing, aging, stabilizing, and sub-zero processing. It has also been approved for austenitizing quenching for steel, nickel-base alloys, and cobalt-base alloys. Only a limited number of companies in the United States has received Safran/Snecma approved-supplier status.

This approval was a long time in the making; Solar’s internal quality system was capable of meeting all the detailed requirements of this world class aerospace supplier.”
