Thermal Technology LLC, Santa Rosa, Calif., returned to private ownership on July 1. The company makes a wide variety of vacuum furnaces, ARC melting furnaces, hot-zone parts, OEM parts, and much more. It was formed in 1984 with the merger of two businesses, Richard D. Brew & Company, and Astro Industries. It became part of the GT Advanced Technologies family in May 2013.
