King Tester to sell Ernst hardness testers in North America

King Tester, King of Prussia, Pa., is expanding its product line to include the full range of Ernst hardness testers previously sold by Newage Testing Instruments under trade names such as Versitron and AutoBrinell. King Tester plans to provide customers with a range of Rockwell, Brinell, micro, and in-line hardness testers throughout North America. King is working with Ernst S.A. to provide the hardness testers formerly marketed and  sold by Newage Testing Instruments.

“Ernst is a well-known brand and a company with the highest level of commitment to quality and product integrity,” says  James Knight, president of King Tester Corp.  All products meet the ASTM standards for hardness. King will offer warranty and support throughout North America, and will continue with its long tradition of providing excellent customer service and support.

King is an 80-year-old Pennsylvania company that developed and has sold the King portable Brinell hardness tester since 1936, and has continued to provide innovations in hardness testing. Ernst S.A. began in the 1950s, and is headquartered in Lugano, Switzerland.
