About The Contest

The competition was hosted in person on Sept. 29, 2026 at IMAT, the International Materials Applications & Technologies conference and exposition, in Quebec City, Canada. Established in 2014 by the ASM Student Board Members, DomesDay is intended to familiarize Material Advantage Students with a piece of ASM culture, the Geodesic Dome at Materials Park, by involving them in a design and materials selection competition.
