In a strategic move to solidify its presence in the North American market, TESCAN Group, Czech Republic, announced the opening of its two new premier demo labs in Warrendale, Pa., and Phoenix Ariz., marking an important step in expanding its presence across the country.
TESCAN Group, a global leader in electron microscopy, ion beam, and micro-CT technology, unveiled its ambitious expansion plans into the North American market. Beginning January 2024, the company has taken significant strides by enhancing its sales and service teams and adopting a flat organizational structure to better address customer needs.
The two new facilities are designed to showcase TESCAN’s unique product portfolio including the latest Tensor TEM. Warrendale will serve as the new headquarters for its North American operations. The two labs will not only feature an expanded range of demo instruments but will also house an expert team dedicated to applications, service, marketing, and sales, including the appointment of a new Vice President of Sales for North America.
Gary Hawkinson, the outgoing CEO of TESCAN USA, shared his enthusiasm about the project. “This initiative is a culmination of a three-year restructuring effort aimed at enhancing our service quality and responsiveness to customer needs in North America. I’m proud to see it launch as I transition into retirement, during which I’ll remain closely connected to guide and support my team at TESCAN Group.”
