Abstract:

This data set contains composition and hardness data for a wide range of tool steels. It includes more than 3000 records for cold-work, hot-work, high-speed, shock-resisting, and air, oil, and water hardening tool steels along with corresponding standards and specifications. It also includes information on heat treatment methods and potential product forms. It provides information on alloy standards from the following organizations: ISO (International), CEN (Europe), ASTM and SAE (USA), and JSA (Japan).
