The TSS President\u2019s Award for Meritorious Service recognizes exceptional service to the Thermal Spray Society and the thermal spray community. Nominees should be members of TSS with at least 10 years of service.<\/p>
Nomination deadline by September 30 of the year prior to that in which the award is to be given.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The Journal of Thermal Spray Technology (JTST) Best Paper Award is chosen annually for a specific volume of the journal by an international committee of expert judges. The winning authors are presented with a plaque at the International Thermal Spray Conference & Exposition. Authors of the second place paper are presented with an Honorable Mention certificate. When a review paper warrants citation, an outstanding Review Paper Citation certificate is presented to the authors of that paper.<\/p> The Editorial Committee believes it is important to evaluate the quality of engineering and scientific contributions published in JTST and to provide recognition of excellent work and its publication. Each paper is reviewed and evaluated on its merits for scientific and engineering content, originality, and presentation style.<\/p>\n\n ASM-TSS recognizes the contribution of its pioneers and champion that have made significant contribution to the field of thermal spray technology. Each year we celebrate between 1-3 Hall of Fame nominees. Consider supporting the travel cost of successful HoF inductees who wish to attend the award ceremony, typically held during ITSC. The intention of this program is to support those inductees who have restricted funding opportunities, the HoF travel grant does not substitute any company support.
