How to Make Gold Pieces by Direct Metal Laser Sintering

This video animation shows the laser-sintering additive manufacturing process inside the EOS Precious M 080, where M stands for the precious metals gold, silver, or platinum. The system allows tool-free manufacturing of high-quality metal parts directly from CAD data. The Precious M 080 builds the parts layer by layer, melting fine metal powder with a laser to create extremely complex geometries such as freeform surfaces, hollow sections, and articulating parts.
