Folding wingtips for the 777X

Boeing has launched its newest airliner, the 777X, which has folding wingtips that will increase wingspan to 233 feet when extended.  Increased wingspan, together with the GE9X engine, will improve fuel efficiency in flight; folding wingtips mean that the 777X will need no more space at airports than 777s without the wingtips.
