Introduce a Girl to Engineering

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (Girls Day) helps focus a growing movement to inspire girls’ futures so they learn they have a place in engineering a better world. Argonne National Laboratory hosts a yearly program for female eighth graders in support of this movement. Attendees enjoy motivational presentations, tour Argonne’s cutting-edge research facilities, connect with a mentor, engage in hands-on experiments, and compete in team challenges. This year’s event is held on Girls Day, February 21, during Engineers Week, February 17–23.
