Odysseus extreme duration aircraft

High-altitude pseudo-satellites (HAPS) are unmanned, long-endurance aircraft designed to act as airborne communication platforms. They transmit radio waves from the stratosphere to devices such as cell phones 12.5 miles below. This video shows the Odysseus HAPS built by Aurora Flight Sciences and Boeing. Powered by advanced solar cells and built of lightweight carbon fiber materials, it has zero emissions and can be repositioned and reprogrammed as needed.
