Jet-Powered Fast Attack Boat

The Ghost fast attack stealth boat is a supercavitating surface craft that can achieve hull friction reduced by a factor of 900 compared to a conventional watercraft. Developed by Juliet Marine Systems as a possible boat for the U.S. Navy, Ghost is powered by two jet engines, and uses a gyro-stabilized dual-pontoon supercavitating hull to run at top speed through 10-ft seas. Called small waterplane-area twin-hull (SWATH), it is guided by 22 underwater control surfaces.
