University of Rare Coins: How Coins are Minted

This is a rare video that documents every aspect of minting coins a century ago, from raw bullion to bagged coins. Shot in 1907, it is one of the first films, a silent movie made years before the talkies. It has the original sub-titles and shows mint employees working in ways that would make OSHA shudder.
