Membership- please contact an executive committee member if you can contribute to the history of the Cincinnati Chapter (email@example.com). Also let us know if you have any old Metal Chatter issues that we can archive electronically. Here's what we have so far:
Walter Spear served as the first Chairman of the Cincinnati Chapter in 1919. During the 1920's and 1930's the chapter held meetings at the Engineering Society of Cincinnati. Dinner was typically held in the basement followed by a lecture upstairs in the auditorium, which seated several hundred people. No alcohol was allowed at this facility, and in the 1950's and 60's the membership decided to hold meetings at a local banquet hall. Attendance during these years averaged around 80-100 people.
