Bio:
Mr. William Hazard has over 20 years of experience in operations and strategy and is an experienced leader with proven results. He has had operational responsibility for 12+ different companies being able to align leadership teams and demonstrate significant operational improvement.
Currently Bill is a President of Novo Partners which is a small fund that he raised and Novo Precision LLC which is the first major acquisition. He is operating a company that he acquired in 2014 and has grown at 30+% per year. He is also sitting on several external boards.
Bill was Vice President of Operations of Remington Outdoor Company where he had operational responsibility for seven different companies. In this role he was responsible for multiple acquisitions where he had responsibility for operational diligence, developed the operational investment thesis, managed the integration of the company, and had day to day management in several of the companies. Prior to this he was COO of Para USA, which was a distressed turnaround and managed sale of a business to Remington.
Before operating businesses he spent 15 years in driving operational excellence in roles of Vice President of Operational Excellence and Consultant. He was a member of Cerberus Capital Management's Operations Team for three years, spent 9 years as a consultant working with Yomo Consulting, and 4 years focused on manufacturing operations with Arthur Andersen. He has worked with many Fortune 500 and mid-market companies both domestically and internationally to improve their operations. These were very hands on and shop floor focused roles where he worked hands on with client and members of Toyota's Operational Leadership in improving operations.
Mr. Hazard received an MS in Operations Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1997 and a BA in Math & Economics from Lafayette College in 1991.
