MaterialsDC Student Night

  • April 18, 2018
  • Tortilla Coast (Capitol Hill) and the National Air & Space Museum
  • Washington , DC , United States

Description

Material Advantage, the student program for materials science and engineering, sponsored Congressional Visit Days to bring students from across the country to Washington DC to raise visibility and support for science, engineering and technology.

The Chapter invited the students to share their experiences on Capitol Hill and to network with each other and our local members. We reserved a private room for dinner and networking at Tortilla Coast.  We also arranged tickets for a lecture and stargazing at the National Air and Space Museum. Both students and our local members attended all three events.
