Rubig Group, Austria, announces that it opened its first facility in the United States on July 19, in Rockford, Ill. The facility is a service center for furnace maintenance and troubleshooting, and provides support for application engineering in the field of heat treatment. It will also include plasma surface treatment equipment, and will offer sales, service, and spare parts focused on the aviation industry.
This opening is the next step in the international expansion strategy of the company. According to CEO Günter Rübig, “Due to the strengthened activities in U.S. production technology and the general positive market development in North America, we have been able to expand our customer base in recent years. This has also required us to establish a local presence.” In addition, a spare parts store and a pilot plant for customer trials and application engineering tasks are available.
