EDFAS is soliciting nominations for candidates for the EDFAS Board of Directors (BOD). Terms are for four years, beginning September 1, 2014 and ending August 31, 2018. All potential candidates for the BOD must be members in good standing of EDFAS at the time of their candidacy.
The duties of the BOD include setting the strategic direction for the Society, including financial budget approval, liaison with the several EDFAS Committees, and general oversight of all Society activities. The BOD meets by conference call once monthly for one hour and in person twice annually, once at ISTFA and once in the Spring.
If you are interested in serving, please submit a three-page nomination package to include the following by March 1 to Tom Moore, Chair EDFAS Nominating Committee at [email protected]. The election will be held in the June-July timeframe by electronic voting.
