Admedes Schuessler GmbH, Germany, has announced Smart Systems, an innovative business unit dedicated to satisfying emerging market needs in the world of Nitinol-based medical devices. Technologies such as Nitinol thin film sputtering, advanced laser HAZ-free micro fabrication, polymer coating, micro assembly, and many others are included in the new business unit.
The company also offers the latest material machining technology to manufacture micro-components and micro-electrodes with feature sizes on the micron scale and negligible impact on material properties. This technology will enable customers to go beyond standard specifications.
