This statement serves as an official clarification notice from ASM International’s compliance office on organizations similar names.
ASM International is an Ohio Non-Profit Corporation and is not a subsidiary of any other organization. As a professional technical society for materials science and engineering, ASM International has procedures and policies in place for compliance with export laws and regulations. Despite appropriate registrations and protections, several organizations with similar names exist both in the US and abroad.
