Inductoheat technological advances can improve induction forging throughput

Michael J. Zaharof of Inductoheat Inc. presented a discussion of the “Top 10 Advances in Induction Heating for Forging” at ASM International’s Heat Treat 2019 conference in Detroit.

 

He discussed the latest technological advancements available in the induction forging industry. From advanced surface to core temperature control and robotic interfaces, to automated billet purge systems, this presentation focused on how incorporating these practices can improve production throughput, decrease downtime, and provide more consistent product quality.
