How to quickly print metal parts

Desktop Metal’s 3D printing technology is based on single-pass jetting, in which every pass of the machine over the powder entails spreading the metal powder, adding the binder, and sintering the resulting part. Two full-width print bars containing over 32,000 jets work in conjunction with powder spreaders to spread powder and print in a single quick pass across the build area, jetting millions of droplets per second. This video shows the machine in action, and includes animation to show how it works.
