Wisconsin Oven Corp., East Troy, Wis., has shipped a natural-gas-fired enhanced duty walk-in oven to a technology company for post-curing refractory materials. This curing oven has a maximum operating temperature of 300°F and work chamber dimensions of 12x12x8 feet. The oven was designed with the capacity to heat 8000 pounds of steel and 4000 pounds of refractory material from 70 to 150°F within 180 minutes.
The refractory curing oven is equipped with bi-parting, horizontal swing doors and a 12-gauge aluminized floor. The recirculation system utilizes combination airflow to maximize heating rates and temperature uniformity. Guaranteed temperature uniformity of ±10°F at 150°F was documented with a standard nine point profile test conducted in an empty oven chamber under static operating conditions.
“This curing oven was constructed with tongue-in-groove panel assemblies featuring our patented high efficiency panel seams that provides 25% better insulating efficiency,” says Nick Toci, Sales Engineer. “The efficiency of these panels allows us to provide optimal temperature uniformity for our customer’s process.”
This walk-in oven was fully factory tested and adjusted prior to shipment from our facility. An extensive quality assurance check list was completed to ensure the equipment met all Wisconsin Oven quality standards. This equipment is backed by Wisconsin Oven’s five-Year WOW™ warranty.
