Wisconsin Oven, East Troy, announced the shipment of a natural gas fired top load oven to a leading manufacturer in the energy industry. The oven will be used for drying moisture from large electrical components.
The drying oven has a maximum temperature rating of 300°F and chamber dimensions of 19’ W x 10’ L x 14’ H. The oven shell is designed with Wisconsin Oven’s patented, high efficiency Expandable Surface design. The pneumatically operated vertical hinged door allows for top loading and unloading of parts.
The gas-fired oven is heated by an industrial air heat burner rated at 2,500,000 BTU per hour and was designed with combination airflow to optimize heat-up rates and uniformity. Guaranteed temperature uniformity of ±10° F at 250° F was documented with a nine point temperature uniformity survey in an empty oven chamber under static operating conditions. This oven is equipped with the DataSense Technologies IoT-based Performance Monitoring System. This system collects information from predictive maintenance sensors to track the performance and health of a variety of components and conditions on the equipment. Thresholds are set around alarm conditions to notify the Wisconsin Oven service team.
